Cause I Made Up Mind, I'm Keeping My Vaio.

I've spent the past couple of days cleaning the C drive on my outdated but beloved Sony Vaio, Estelle. Yes, I'm a PC.

AOL, which I've used since 1992, is virtually useless these days as a loaded program because it's now on the Internet all prettified and free for all to use. So two days ago I deleted the software and in the blink of an eye an entire gigabyte of space and then some fell right onto my lap, free as a bird, sporting a bright and shiny 'To Let' sign.

This morning I retrieved an additional 600 MBs getting rid of Hotfix Uninstallers that until today I knew not of.

It's not that I'm opposed to getting a pretty new Vaio notebook. I like shiny new toys as much as the next person. It's just that I really don't need a new PC. There is also a little thing called Gigapocket Explorer I love to bits that lets me watch and record TV while I'm working or playing online.

Gigapocket Explorer, I'd miss you the most.

And besides, I have 50 gigs of virgin harddrive I've just been using as a closet that's sitting unused and unloved on the D Drive waiting around for something fun to happen.

So for now I'm keeping my Vaio. I just saved $2 Grand.

I'm so happy.

I'm Changing My Career Path

I have completely changed my career path. I am now working towards creating my own successful romantic-comedy so I can sign Simon Baker to play my love interest.

I only wish I had thought of this sooner.

Now That I Have A Blog, Whatever Do I Say?

This blog is under development ... which as we all know is webpage code for, Okay, smartie pants, you've signed up for a weblog, now what do you have to say for yourself? Honestly, I haven't quite figured out if the stuff of my life is even interesting enough outside the boundries of my circle to bother to publish on the webernet.

So for now, until I can think of something at least half way interesting to say to the world, I'll let this paragraph or two stand as my the opening volley to what I hope will be a blog worthy of the time one would take to read.
